California Funding for OER Adoption
← Back to list of eventsThe goal of the California College Textbook Affordability Act of 2015 (AB 798) is to save college students money by empowering professors and local campuses to adopt high quality, free and open educational resources (OER) for courses materials. Colleges can submit proposals for their local textbook affordability programs and receive up to $50,000 to implement their programs and report on achieved student savings. Speaker from the California OER Council and the Community College Consortium for OER will share information on how to apply for the grant and use the California Open Online Library for to find faculty peer reviewed OER.
