Exploring Respect, Education and Protection in Public Education

K-12 Education in Canada, as in the rest of the world is faced with teaching what are often referred to as 21st Century skills, such as digital citizenship to young people who lead very different digital lives in and outside of the school environment. In this 1 hour Tweet Chat participants will discuss the tensions between freedom to choose, protection and censorship which occurs when K-12 schools adopt public spaces for education.
