Open education is impossible without a culture of sharing: sharing knowledge, skills, support and resources. To make open education possible, we need to build work ethics based on trust and cooperation. In an open school, everyone is a student and a teacher, an author and a consumer. In an interconnected world, with the potential of the Internet and new technologies, sharing in easier than ever before. Creating and using Open Educational Resources (OER) is a consequene of this way of thinking.
In our webinar, we invite you to look at openess in education from five different perspectives: from searching and creating OER, using open licenses, through benefiting from remix practices to enhancing diversity in schools as a starting point for strenghtening openess, and positioning schools as life-long learning environments.
