Regional Leadership of Open Education(RLOE) Phase 2

← Back to list of events
Launched in fall 2019, the Regional Leadership for Open Education (RLOE) initiative was motivated by CCCOER leaders’ growing need to collaborate across institutional and state boundaries to find solutions for issues impacting OER adoption at diverse, large multi-institution systems. RLOE aims to inform and grow leadership at postsecondary institutions, library consortia, and government agencies to improve and scale open education as a systemic reform to reduce equity gaps and improve student success The program will take the policy, stewardship, professionalism, and sustainability outputs from RLOE initiative work done over 2019-20 and develop them into an RLOE Network program targeted to leaders of open education initiatives at postsecondary institutions. Recently, Open Education Global (OE Global) and the Community College Consortium for Open Education Resources (CCCOER) were awarded a 2-year grant by ECMC Foundation to fund the RLOE Network project. Join us to hear from Open Education leaders who were involved in the first phase of RLOE and OE Global and CCCOER staff, to learn more about the work that has been done as well as plans for the second phase of this project.
