Wikipedia in the Classroom
← Back to list of eventsOften Wikipedia in the classroom is framed as something to be avoided, to be "consumed at your peril". In today’s workshop I want to talk about how we can flip this on its head, and see Wikipedia as open pedagogical learning technology. Reimagining it away from something passively consumed to something we can positively contribute to, on the most public of digital platforms as active engaged digital citizens, and gain a lot from the teaching & learning experience as a result.
