One way is to enroll in Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success (#EmTechMOOC), an online learning opportunity available for students, faculty, staff, and anyone who wants to learn about freely-available emerging technologies for personal and professional growth.

Everyone – Expand your creativity and critical thinking skills!
Earn digital badges and a Coursera Certificate of Completion to add to your resume or CV and develop an ePortfolio to showcase your accomplishments.
#EmTechMOOC is an open-access resource targeted to the lifelong learning needs for students, faculty, staff, and anyone from across the globe who has a desire to keep pace with technology change. This MOOC and companion resource collection helps participants identify the value and implications of using established and emerging technology tools for personal and professional growth and gain strategies to develop lifelong learning habits to keep pace with technology change.
EmTech has two parts; #EmTechMOOC is a Massive Open Online Course about Lifelong Learning, and the 4Cs of 21st-century skills. EmTechWIKI is a socially-curated discovery engine to discover tools, tutorials, and resources about emerging technologies including audio, video, blogs, wikis, presentations, simulations, and more.
Participants build an ePortfolio to showcase their accomplishments and reflect on their learning.
